Although we are based on the river Stort near Harlow Town railway station our clients are from all over Europe.

The mooring for all our boats is in Burnt Mill Lane, Harlow, accessed by the car park of the Moorhen public house. For those with satellite navigation the post code is CM20 2QS. Please note the weight restriction on Burnt Mill Lane.

Directions to the mooring:

From the A10 - follow signs Gate to the Canal Boat Hire, Canal Boat Holidays

to Harlow along the A414. After passing the 'Welcome to Harlow Town sign take the first left into Burnt Mill Lane passing the outdoor centre on your left and continue to the Moorhen pub. Enter the pub car park going to the furthest end of the car park. Entry to the mooring is by a small gate in the fence/hedge.

From the M11 - Follow the signs along the A414 to Harlow Town then Harlow Town Station. At the railway station roundabout continue on the A414 (Hertford) for 100 yds and take the first right turning into Burnt Mill Lane past the outdoor centre and onto the Moorhen public house. Enter the pub car park going to the furthest end of the car park. Entry to the mooring is by a small gate in the fence/hedge.

Large Vehicles (Weight Restriction 3 Ton)

Please Note the bridge over the river on Burnt Mill Lane has a weight restriction and is unsuitable for coaches and other large vehicles.

If traveling along A414 take first exit at roundabout (ie do not follow Harlow Only sign on road) along Eastwick Road and turn right at Dusty Miller Pub into Burnt Mill Lane and the Moorhen Pub is half a mile on left.

If traveling from M11 continue past Burnt Mill Lane and take 2nd exit at roundabout to Dusty Miller Pub and turn right into Burnt Mill Lane.
