The Canal Boat Project is a registered charity that offers canal boat experiences to disadvantaged and disabled people who would volunteer for the Canal Boat Project

not be able to use the facilities offered by commercial companies.

We rely on voluntary donations and grants which enable us to continue to offer affordable canal boat hire and holidays.

We also rely on our committed volunteers to run our organisation, whether it be skippering or crewing; maintaining the boats or developing and maintaining this web site. However, we realise that not everyone can be a volunteer.

You can still help the Project by becoming a Friend of the Canal Boat Project. Its aim is to donate money through annual subscription fees to contribute to the Projects income. Friends who join will be able to play a vital role in helping the Canal Boat Project cover the ever increasing costs of running and maintaining our four unique boats in good working order.

The annual subscription will include a welcome letter, regular Friends E-newsletters, an invitation to the Friends Open Day and a Friends car sticker.
