From time to time we issue press releases to inform our users about the changes at the Canal Boat Project and to spread the word about the charities aims and objectives and how we are meeting them.


The Canal Boat Project provides affordable day trips and holidays on the inland waterways of Essex, Hertfordshire and East London for disabled and disadvantaged individuals and organisations. The four purpose-built boats have been designed to provide facilities for all users and enable them to participate fully in the operation of the boat. The charity is also an accredited training provider.

The Project supports around 3,000 people every year to enjoy the beauty of the rivers Lee and Stort. We have over 130 volunteers and provide opportunities for other local groups to be involved in the charity.
